Custom, 6’ - 24’ expanding/ telescoping mango specific, but also general fruit picker. The work began from a found 6’-12’ telescoping pole (the middle component) to which I added a 6’ hollowed bamboo pole around, and a 6’ fiberglass and carbon fiber wrapped bamboo pole within. The fruit basket is also hand made, with soldered joints and supportive mason’s twine lashing.
